ranil wickremesinghe, prime minister of unelected backdoor government, has once again demonstrated his slavish breeding. in an interview with foreign media, he has faulted australia, and its prime minister tony abbott, for not lecturing sri lankan government on alleged human rights violations here. like the old white racist mass murdering imperialists (willingly served by his ancestors), ranil obviously thinks western countries have a god given right to 'civilize' rest of the world. 

in ranil's eyes, enlightened west is there to to teach and order us, we, benighted natives, are here to obey and learn from west!

as such, australia is wrong, because unlike other hypocrites in west (uk, usa , canada, eu), who preach human rights to the whole world,while being responsible for the worst and most human right violations in this century, australia, for a change, has given up lecturing us, and decided to respect our sovereignty, and treat sri lanka on equal terms. 

oh horror! pederast ranil and his toyboys can't stand that.

cricket world cup predictions before tournament meaningless +bookie odds

i don't get ppl (esp the so called experts) who make predictions about who will win the icc cricket world cup.

i am not referring to ppl who wish and hope their favorite team will win, but ppl who make 'serious' predictions. anyone who knows cricket knows that luck plays a big part in the game, as much as capabilities of players and teams.

in fact one can define cricket as a game where result depends on how each team cope with turns of the wheel of fortune through a match.

some teams (like australia is recent past, but not at present) were good at coping with anything dealt, so in last two world cups it was safe to predict to a certain extent.

once the tournament starts to progress, we can judge each team's current coping abilities, then predictions will make more sense.

so i am not going to predict while wishing the best for sri lankan team.

australia - the terrorist sponsoring state; all murderers of sri lankans welcome

in australia, you can help murderers and walk free. just make sure that those murdered are sri lankans. that is us. and our children. include an indian prime minister as well. it seems such victims have no weight in scales of australian 'justice'.

an australian court allowed some despicable criminals to walk free after they have admitted to helping fund and equip tamil tiger (ltte) terrorist murderers .

"Tamil community newspaper editor Sivarajah Yathavan, 39, of Vermont South, Aruran Vinayagamoorthy, 35, of Mount Waverley and Sydney accountant Arumugan Rajeevan, 43, each pleaded guilty to providing more than $1 million in cash to the Sri Lankan Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, otherwise known as the LTTE or the Tamil Tigers.

Vinayagamoorthy, also pleaded guilty to making electronic components available to the Tamil Tigers.

At least one of those components was used to make and detonate a bomb used in a terrorist attack in Sri Lanka."

all this time austarlia did not find all the deliberate targeting of innocents by ltte grounds enough to classify it as a terrorist group. what are they then?

same austarlia is participating in american coalitions is iraq and afghanistan fighting terrorists (rightly so imo). so what is the difference in official australian eyes between al qaeda and tamil tigers; one is not called terrorists, but other is. oh that is right! one kills westerners, other only sri lankans (+ few indians). iow this is australian official racism in action.

so much for australian justice.
so much for australian respect for human rights, freedom and democracy.

will they dare to preach to us about respect for human rights after this? or rule of law? what hypocrites!

this is no isolated incident. there has been continuous attacks on sri lankans abroad (esp in in australia, canada, and united kingdom) during whole of last year (also see), perpetrated by racists supporting defeated ltte. there has been almost no action on the part of authorities on those countries to bring those responsible to justice. a culture of impunity due to western racism and political pandering to racists in tamil diaspora prevails.

after this, it's official, australia is now harboring terrorists. isn't that what taliban was doing in afghanistan. do we, sri lankans have the right (if we can) to treat australian government and ppl like americans did to then afghan gov and ppl. why not?

will the amnesty international or human rights watch condemn this outrageous violation of our rights? will the foreign funded ngos in sri lanka (almost all of them pro appeasement during effort to defeat ltte)?

after all they were all too ready to condemn decisions of sri lankan courts. but racists in ai, hrw, and their like, as well as assorted paid slaves of west, working for, or dependent on, ngos here will not condemn this.

will their counterparts in sri lankan blogosphere? or will they ignore this (after claiming in multiple posts that sl gov denying a visa to akon was a great violation of rights and indication of extremism in sri lanka, etc., etc. lol).



anyway, this is one more indication (as if we needed more) that it is we sri lankans and nobody else who have the responsibility to preserve and secure of our lives, human rights, justice, freedom, and democracy.

everybody else is only paying lip service. that is why they should not be allowed or tolerated when they try to pass judgment on our actions to preserve and secure the same.

when will peacenik hypocrites unconditionally condemn racist pro terrorist anti sri lankan violence and protests in west?

i wrote about the recent increase in racist attacks and protests against sri lankans by pro terrorists in west, yesterday, before the news of the day overwhelmed it; asking that western governments immediately take measures, to protect sri lankans in their countries, prevent attacks, and arrest and prosecute those responsible (which they have not done in spite of video evidence in some cases)

as horror of latest acid attack by pro terrorist racists in australia (which could leave one person blind and disfigured) emerge, all those who are anti racist, anti terrorist, and pro real peace, must speak out against them. now!

this post is specifically addressed to sri lankan peaceniks (bloggers esp included) and ngos, esp those who were inaccurately claiming that there is 'a culture of impunity' in sri lanka. in fact as the ignoble death of mass murdering terrorist pussy velupillai prabhakaran proved ppl are being held accountable (typically irrational peaceniks of course do not like this too) .

these peaceniks should condemn those racist hate mongering attacks, and protests that encourage those attacks, of pro terrorists, unconditionally. they should condemn those governments for their inaction and 'culture of impunity' (regardless of how much those governments contribute to their ngos).

hypocrites in amnesty international and human rights watch and other such ingos which were so ready to condemn sri lanka of all sort of things with no evidence, should also condemn these protests, attacks, and governments, unconditionally, if they want to retain any credibility.

will they do that? will they have the backbone to stand up for human rights, justice, freedom, and democracy, for once ?

or will they look the other way as they did when terrorists were killing innocents here? (blindly recommending appeasement of murderers or evading the reality of terror in typical intellectually dishonest fashion.)

we will see.

and we will hold them accountable esp the peacenik bloggers who live in those countries where such attacks and protests happen.

western governments must prosecute those responsible for racist pro terrorist attacks against sri lankans in their countries. now!

pro tamil tiger racists in western countries who have been supporting the ltte murderers with financial, political, and moral support are going over edge as their hopes of creating an ethnically cleansed racist tamil state called tamil ealam are dashed, and their leaders here are getting what they deserve; ignoble cowardly death.

there has been an increase in number of attacks against sri lankan institutions and sri lankan individuals in those countries. sri lankan embassies have been attacked, individual sri lankans or with connections to sri lanka have been attacked ( latest in australia link thanks to bailaman), buddhist temples have been subject to repeated arson attacks.

even before this ltte supporters intimidated other members of tamil diaspora who did not approve of ltte's atrocities. bc of this tamil diaspora has always appeared to support ltte terrorism in contrast to tamils who actually live here (btw a fact always willfully forgotten by pro terrorist propagandists and peaceniks; majority of tamils in sl have always lived and preferred to live in government controlled sri lanka even when terrorist pussies were holding huge territories and pretending it was a state).

western governments, esp european ones, and particularly britain and norway, have failed to prevent, or arrest and prosecute, those responsible, even though, as in several cases of embassy attacks, there is video evidence. western media esp those that were calling for a ceasefire ( which would have been murderous for sri lankans) recently ( and particularly bbc which has been acting like terrorist's propaganda arm publishing anonymous unsubstantiated anti sl stories) has not reported on these hate attacks in their own countries. ( given that same governments and media also failed to prevent or report on the fat financial life line that allowed terrorists here to buy arms and murder innocents, this is no surprise to us who are well aware of hypocrisy and racism inherent in some ppl in the west, esp among the leftist liberals).

some politicians in those countries ( example some british labor party politicians) depend on tamil votes, so are shamelessly pandering to perpetrators of these hate crimes, similar to the way they parroted these hate mongers when they called for a ceasefire recently. (btw if indian elections are any clue ordinary tamils do not care about ltte terrorists and their pandering will fail)

we will see whether these governments and media institutions will continue with this inaction, and remain blind while allowing innocent sri lankans to be attacked without any protection in their countries.

which are the failed states?
do these states have free media?

it is telling that several sri lankan bloggers who are either openly peacenik or are intellectually dishonest peacenik cowards (i.e. those who evaded taking a stand on what to do with ltte, while criticizing ppl who took a stand in supporting defeat of ltte criminals with violence if needs be), have not condemned or even written about these attacks even though typically some of them live in those countries. any of the indi padahow's suckerboy cocoon will fall into this category, but prime example is the drummerboy (who recently "led" the effort to ban another blogger from kottu bc he did not conform to drummerboy's narrow small minded world view even though they shared the same self absorbed narcissistic streak)

we should win the test matches against australia

equation is rather simple. without (quite unlikely) interruptions there will be two results in the two test matches. question is who will win?

because we have the better bowling attack we should. (for the same reason, in theory we should have better results from tests than one day matches during next year or two generally; longer the match format better results we should have) while our batting is not at its best and not quite up to the standard of australians (esp. without kumar sangakara) it has more than enough talent and experience to post the scores required to get australians out twice.

if we lose, it will be our fault, period. (yes luck plays a part, but that is why there are two innings, thus two dice rolls, in tests)

i personally don't agree with the way that marvan atapattu was included in the squad. he is a valuable and even necessary addition imo. but i shouldn't have any say on that decision, nor should the minister or the public at large. selectors and captain should have the final say and the responsibility. if they did not want to have atapattu (which i doubt) they should have had the freedom to leave him out.

as i have said before, cricket team is not a government and should not be a politically correct democracy or a popularity contest. if it is, we will end up with a team full of dull dependable mediocrities (a bit like the south african team or in another context american idol/sirasa super star) that always end up in the middle ranks of tournaments and league tables that actually test ability.

anyway i don't think it will have a big effect on these two matches since all the ppl involved in this instance are hopefully bigger than that.
