disaster ahead! pederast ranil's unp fails to get majority, will ruin country, & fall

in spite of trying through his puppet sirisena to destabilize opposing major party, slfp led upfa, by removing general secretaries and central committee members in the final days of election. ranil's unp utterly failed to secure a simple majority.

it got only 105 seats, and a majority needs 113.

even in that 105, its not all unp. it includes hela urumaya, slfp breakaways loyal to chandrika, slmc and breakaways members, various cwc elements, and few other parties. they may get 1 slmc mp elected independently, and perhaps devananda from epdp. but all these small groups will demand their share of loot. since their primary motive for getting together was to oppose mahinda, some of what they what contradict each other.

he would be tempted by tamil racists of tna, but will explode himself if he gives into any of their demands.

no doubt ranil is counting on puppet and chandrika to get slfp members to defect. and indeed some will. but they will be digging their own political graves, because government wont be able to function or last long even with them.

for in addition to above political reality, there is the economic reality; we are heading for fiscal and balance of payment crises. this stems from 3 main sources,
  • irresponsible budget of the so called yahapalana government,
  • attempt by unp to extort kick backs from from investors through arbitrary illegal stoppage of projects and contracts,
  • incompetent and corrupt government financing resulting in  government borrowing more in 1 six months than whole of last year, (and unlike last year has nothing to show for it).

imf will be called in. but will demand austerity, with welfare and public service cuts. can such a punny government push that through? will ranil go beg chinese to help out, after slandering all the chinese dealing with sri lanka of corruption (and will his western masters allow him)? he is certainly not going to get economic aid or investment from west however slavishly he acts towards them. and india simply can't help.

as an opponent of this piece of human garbage, i would have enjoyed ranil's desperate flailings in next few months, but unfortunately his incompetence will bring disaster on countless innocent sri lankans. that is what some of his foreign backers (especially tamil diaspora) wants, but we don't. but such suffering is inevitable consequence of electing puppet and then letting ranil through backdoor.

hopefully (in fact almost certainly) within a year all this will be played out and we will finally get rid of filthy idiot ranil and his toyboys for good.

corrupt ngo hypocrites of ranil praise sirisena's dictatorial actions

puppet sirisena is trying his best to suppress free expression of sri lankan political opinion through a free and fair election. in order to do that he is tyrannically removing general secretaries of upfa & slfp, and sacking members of slfp central committee wholesale. remember this is done to cripple one of the two major parties during final stages of an election, and to effect the outcome of election by changing national list appointees.

he is of course driven to this by corrupt pederast ranil. who never won, and knows that he will never  win, a free and fair election.

but note how foreign paid ngo scum are praising these blatantly undemocratic actions. these same people opposed defeating of child killing terrorist pussies. for an example, read indi samarajiva,  member of an utterly corrupt political appointee family. typical of the type, he is totally incapable of working for a living, has no qualifications to speak of, has inexplicably lost money on various web projects which he gets others to create at slave wages, and has hung around one ngo after another. (btw in a blatant act of nepotism, after his corrupt political appointee father got him a job at a mobile company, he manged to extort substantial exit money from it after working just 1 year). such people are so rotten in their heads and so short sighted, they cannot even see the obvious facts.

we, sri lankans defeated such scum when they supported tigers, and we will do so again in spite of all their schemes.

as i said day before election, ranil wont be able to form a stable government even with such corruption and illegal dictatorial violence. political and economic realities will catch up with him, and his toyboys, within a year at most. and true opinion of sri lankans will prevail soon enough.

when that happens, let us remember filth like indi, scum who are willing to praise any anti democratic tyrannical corrupt action harmful sri lankans, just as long as they get dollars pushed into their holes. their incompetent lazy ass noses should be rubbed on their own words till they vomit all their ill gotten dollars out.

contrast the choices on offer before voting

here i will give a brief contrast between choices available in tomorrow's voting. decide if i am right or wrong (or omitted anything). then clarify and express your thoughts rationally here(or just in your own mind). then go vote.

practically choice is between a country led by mahinda or by ranil. (sirisena is clearly incapable of leading on his own, has no substantive independent political support, and is only capable of arbitrary actions that can be circumvented).

minor parties
while minor parties a technically choices, voting for them is a vote wasted if our aim is to choose next government. one can vote for such parties for other reasons. for instance, tamil racists can vote for despicable tna, impractical idiots living in past blind to present day realities can vote for jvp, etc.

btw there are no libertarian choices at all, even if i wanted to waste my vote intentionally.

---
main criteria for contrasting mahinda and ranil are,
  • their past records.
  • likely future government they will form

past records
mahinda has an impressive record of delivering what he promised. with few blemishes.
  • terrorists were defeated, peace achieved.
  • economic growth rate reached new sustained highs, debt to gdp percentage was reduced to 70% from close to 100%, foreign reserves reached $9b+, inflation was reduced to low single digits, unprecedented infrastructure development, expansion of tourism, etc.,etc..
  • independent non aligned foreign policy, using china to balance india's intrusions and west's waning hegemony.
  • far from being a dictator as alleged, democracy prevailed to the extant that he allowed conditions for elections that can defeat him, and when defeated, promptly left office. constitutional impeachment of a chief justice. misuse of state media and resources for propaganda.
  • alleged corruption (though not one charge has been proven by new government in-spite of having ample opportunity and usage of extra legal methods of investigation, such as fcid), nepotism.

in contrast ranil's record is one of dismal incompetence. plus all the blemishes that mahinda has.
  • he failed in his dealing with terrorists and some of those dealings were downright traitorous and cost blood of innocents. he still panders to remaining followers of terrorists' racist ideology.
  • wasn't able to make much change in economic growth or debt in previous periods of governing. this year, through an irresponsible budget, he managed to bring down growth and reserves, and increase debt, with nothing whatever to show for any of that. stopping variety of infrastructure developments on flimsy grounds(in order to extort kick backs) with disastrous consequences for economy.
  • slavishly panders to west, and obeys india. with sri lanka getting nothing, absolute zero, in return.
  • has a record of acting dictatorially and illegally, using fine print and loopholes, instead of openly, to retain power in country or in his own party. violation of constitution to remove a chief justice. was implicated in torture camps during 1980s, using dictatorial methods through puppet sirisena to prevent mahinda and party from contesting fairly and freely. use of illegal methods and false investigations to harass political opponents. misuse of state media and resources for propaganda.
  • clearly the mover behind central bank bond scum this year, and related attempted cover ups to protect governor in order stop evidence implicating himself. widespread attempt to extort foreign investors through stoppage of infrastructure developments by his government. nepotism.

likely future governments
now let us contrast the conditions and methods that each will face and use after election if they form a government.

mahinda led upfa has a chance to obtain a clear majority, if free and fair elections were held. in that case sisrisena will be forced to make him prime minister. even if upfa fails to get a clear majority due to dictatorial actions of the ranil's puppet, upfa may get more seats than any other party. in which case even if puppet allows ranil to form a government, and he accepts, it will be extremely unstable(see below) and will fall within a year at most. and mahinda will be made prime minster eventually.

mahinda has shown he can get variety of non upfa mps to support his government and more importantly his polices. though puppet may try to destablize it few years down, it will be stable in mid term. such a stable government will be similar in its polices to mahinda government before january 8, offering economic growth security, and independence (with crony capitalism). terrorists and their racist ideology will be repressed. there would of course be retaliatory prosecution of ranil and supporters. imo such a government was and is a good thing. you are free to differ.

ranil will not get a clear majority. most probably unp led alliance will get 2nd most number of seats (with extremely slight chance of getting more than upfa). in either case, puppet may ask him to form government. which will depend on upfa defections, tamil and muslim racists and extremists, hela urumaya sinhala extremists, jvp marxist extremists, etc., etc..  ranil, in contrast to mahinda, has no record of getting others to follow his polices. government will be unstable and will struggle to pass any legislation. if same irresponsible polices, as present, are continued, economy will be facing great disaster by end of this year. but reversal of such policies (during next budget) will be politically impossible.  government will fall. imo such a government would be bad for country.

contrast between choices available are clear. clarify your thoughts, refute me if possible. then vote rationally.

corrupt ranil behind attempt to subvert election

filthy pederast ranil, who never won a free and fair election, knows through his foreign imported, public funded, illegally privately used, pollsters, that he is heading for another defeat

so,
with his hands red with blood of sri lankan children sacrificed to tigers in his last attempt to remain in power,
his sick mind craving sadistic pleasures he derived when he personally supervised the tortures during 1980s,
knowing that there is solid evidence to convict him as the primary mover behind central bank bond scum,
etc., etc.,
he is masterminding his puppet dictator sirisena's desperate attempt to repress the will of the sri lankan people during upcoming election.

sirisena's own interests would have been better served by waiting till after the election to undermine mahinda, especially if mahinda led upfa failed to get a clear majority. but ranil convinced him that mahinda led upfa is heading for a solid majority in order to to make him act now.

ranil himself was convinced of his own defeat at least by last monday. he was obviously ill at ease and irritable during media interviews last week (in contrast to relaxed mahinda).  ranil was positively glum during last press conference with his alliance partners.

when ranil's attempt at illegally remaining in power through the help of his puppet is fully defeated (with luck this will happen just after the election, but certainly within a year, after all their schemes, some of which will be unfolded after the election, get unraveled when faced with political and economic realities), sri lankans must remember to be just in handing out retribution. ranil should be the primary focus. and no pity should be shown to him.

postpone election to ensure fairness and freedom

backdoor ranil's puppet dictator sirisena is desperately trying his best to prevent a mahinda led upfa victory by 'sacking' general secretaries of upfa and slfp. this is done to prevent them from appointing polling agents and nominating national list mps after election.

to ensure free and fair elections, election commissioner, should postpone the election till courts definitely rule on legitimacy of dictator's attempt to sack general secretaries of these major parties. it should be postponed to a date after the advanced level exams currently being held.

if this cannot be done,
  • he should ensure that individual candidates have the right to appoint polling agents.
  • not announce the names of national list mps of any party until gen sec issue is resolved in courts.
he should retain his special powers till national list nominees are announced by name, and election is concluded.

ps.
postponing election, by two weeks or so, will have another benefit. unhrc report on alleged war crimes in sri lanka will be released during next week or so. ranil and his puppet fixed election date on 17th (in the middle of exams) mainly to ensure it is over before the release of report, since content is likely to increase support for mahinda. this undemocratic attempt to keep sri lankan voters in ignorance would also be defeated through a postponement.

backdoor ranil's puppet dictator sirisena tries to steal election

with the 'sacking' of general secretaries of slfp and upfa and prevention of their capacity to discharge their duties just 2 days before election(which upfa under mahinda was on course to win), we see the full anti democratic nature of so called "yaha palanaya" government.  this action basically prevents posting of polling agents from slfp and upfa during election day, and allows unp complete freedom to steal the election.

pederast ranil and his puppet were forced in to this unambiguously dictatorial action because they already knew that upfa was on course to get over 120 seats. if upfa fails to get that or gets lees than 113 it is mainly due to this tyrannical action.

if, in spite of this, upfa gets more than 80 seats without its national list qouta(who will now be appointed by dictators nominees), that should be clear indication that they would have got over 120 without this attack on free and fair election.

after the election,  any attempt by ranil and his puppet to suppress the will of the people, and remain in power against their will should be resisted with all means available. dictators and their supporters should feel (both morally and physically) just consequences of this violent trampling on people.

resistance to ranil/john amaratunga thuggery should be the first shot

all who desire democracy, good governance, rule of law, and stable prosperity, to prevail in sri lanka, needs to support all forms of resistance to lawless, irresponsible, thuggery, that is being imposed on sri lanka, by filthy pederast ranil's backdoor government.

of the many many acts they have perpetrated against "yaha palanaya", they hypocritically proclaimed, and their paid propagandists, online and off,  spread,  some of which i have commented on in this blog, i will mention a few thematic ones,
  • gross violation of constitution in removing chief justice mohan peiris, accompanied with physical threats against him and family, made by ranil himself and his fellow thug asad sally.
  • totally irresponsible and ignorant budget. which has resulted in a continuing stock market crash, and would have resulted in a rupee crash, if not for furious selling of dollar reserves built up by mahinda, and threats to currency brokers, by central bank. how long the rupee can be protected by such means is a question.
  • the widespread daily acts of physical violence, and absurd slanders, against opposition and members of previous government. with threats to media & officials that cover the violence and question the slanders.
  • the irresponsible surrender of our foreign policy, and sri lankan interests, to india and west, purely because these supported private interests of the ranil gang in the regime change, and now say nice things about the new regime, while deliberately preferring to cover their eyes to its violent illegal undemocratic actions. in the process, they are alienating china, whose interests and ours coincide to a large degree, and unlike india and west, is willing to go beyond mere words, and pay for our support.
due to all these, and more. sri lankans should start active resistance to the ranil's backdoor regime.

the incident of thuggery directly involving john amaratunga, minister of public peace, disaster management and christian religious affairs, is a good example of multiple failings of this new regime. as such it should be used as a good starting point for active resistance.

last friday(30th), he was present, and is on record encouraging his henchmen, to invade a sitting session of the wattala pradeshiya sabha (a local council controlled by upfa in his electorate), and then physically assault chairman thyagaratna alwis, and members with iron rods.

no arrests were made in spite of video evidence. if puppet sirisena continues to be a toyboy in the hands of pedrast ranil, and fails to remove amaratunga from his cabinet post, that involves oversight of police, a no confidence motion should be presented in parliament, and a non stop protest campaign should be undertaken until he is removed.

we must keep in mind that backdoor government, though its trying to project an image of strength through media, is in fact weak, especially among public in south, and even votes maithree (not ranil) got in north, were merely votes against mahinda, rather than for anything positive. a resistance campaign, will have more than enough public support once it gets going, led by resolute leaders, whose aim is removal of backdoor regime.

so the question is whether official opposition leadership, made up of people like nimal siripala de silva, has the brains and guts to mount such a campaign, or at least let others in opposition, people who have demonstrated courage in face of relentless attacks from backdoor gov, have a free hand to lead one. we will soon know. if they, nimal & co, fail, they should be replaced with people who do have what it takes to face down the backdoor government. and chase away ranil's thugs to face retribution, unprotected by laws they have intentionally desecrated.

those who endorse removal of cj mohan peiris are beyond law and its protections

removal of chief justice mohan peiris, was carried out by giving unconstitutional power to executive to be legislative and judiciary as well.

sirisena, under orders from ranil's backdoor government, interpreted law & passed a sentence like a court (but unlike a real court, did not hear from both sides), when he claimed that chief justice mohan peiris's appointment was "bad in law".

he is, blatantly assuming power to institute a court, lay down its procedure (one which violates rights guaranteed in constitution), to pass (or assume existence of) laws and to interpret them at will.

under constitution chief justice can be removed only through an impeachment in parliament. and if there is some fault in procedure of his appointment, that can be determined only by courts (and under rights guaranteed in constitution), after hearing from all sides.

those who have endorsed removal of chief justice mohan peiris,
  • are willfully endorsing fundamental violations of constitution
  • they endorse degrading both spirit and letter of law. (unlike mahinda, and other previous presidents of sri lanka, who may, in some cases, have acted against spirit of law, but not against its letter.)
  • endorse giving power of executive, legislative, and judiciary to a single person, against all principles of human rights, democracy, and good governance.
  • denying existence of rule of law in sri lanka, they endorse rule of one man to make and break laws at will.
  • they are denying us, sri lankans, the right to be ruled by our legitimate democratic republic form of government.
endorsers of this criminal activity, be they parliamentarians, judges, bureaucrats, media, bloggers, or just individuals, are placing themselves beyond law by their actions. as such must face the consequences. they must expect to be denied protection of laws and rights guaranteed under the constitution they violate.

when sri lanka reestablish and reenforce the democratic constitution, as it will, soon enough, given its long tradition of democracy. these people who have willfully placed themselves beyond its protection can (imo should) be denied all lawful protections of a constitution they deliberately violated. pleas, if any, from their foreign backers, who now fail to condemn this undemocratic and illegitimate removal of chief justice, should be ignored.

we must remember and keep the evidence of their criminality, because, from now on, imo, we, sri lankans, who are violated by these outlaws, are, completely free to unleash and support the violent fury of inevitable consequences on them. let them eat their own shit! literally.

removing chief justice mohan peiris without due process amount to a coup

ranil's backdoor government's alleged removal of mohan peiris as chief justice without due precess prescribed in constitution, amount to a coup.

as such all citizens of sri lanka are free to resist the illegal coup government with whatever means available. traitors who take power through such illegal and violent means can be resisted. even use of violence in such resistance is legal.

resistance begins!

yaha palanaya! a backdoor government established in uva

newly established "good governance" government, keeps on redefining those terms.

unp's harin fernando, who barely got 40% of vote in recent uva provincial elections, showing utter contempt for people's wishes, has weaseled his way into chief minister's office through backroom maneuvering, ousting upfa government of shamindra rajapakse, who go 51%+.

all this with active support and blessings of ranil's backdoor government in colombo.

btw, shamindra's vote share was same as maithree's, while harin got much less than mahinda's 48%-. same mahinda, slandered as a power mad dictator, who in fact bowed to people's wishes and left office, while harin who was one of those slanderers, now shows his true nature.

who is behaving democratically here?

who conducted free and fair elections? who respected people's wishes? who respected freedom of expression? who respected due process?

everyone can see, what is what (except unthinking, ignorant, idiotic, propagandists of ranil, online or off) as each day passes.

yaha palanaya! ravi k. and mangala in cabinet

ranil's backdoor government, which promised an end to corruption, has sworn in, with other stinkers, ravi karunanayake as finance minister, and mangala samaraweera as foreign minister.

enough said

p.s.
unlike hypocritical online hacks like indi.ca, this blog was never an anti corruption crusader.

as i have said many times before, "only way to cure the political system of corruption (and attendant criminality) here or anywhere in the world (most of world is no better than here, west just conceal it it better), is to reduce the power of politicians/state over other ppls' assets/freedoms; be it by cutting government spending/welfare, removing regulations and pols' control over regulations, etc., etc.."

however if you make a big deal of alleged corruption to win votes, it is but right to point out perceived corruption of those two new ministers alone (and they are not the only ones) would match perceived corruption of any administration world over, including the previous administration here.

yaha palanaya score card:

 good governance indeed!

yaha palanaya! political thug upul jayasuriya threatens chief justice

so much for rule of law, and due process, promised by the new government!

today, president of bar association of sri lanka (basl), upul jayasuriya, and his henchmen, are openly threatening chief justice of sri lanka, mohan peiris, to make him resign, with encouragement from ranil's backdoor government.

this comes soon after ranil's gov, threatened to illegally prosecute those exercising right to freedom of expression.

corrupt thug jayasuriya, who got elected as basl president through violence, seemingly ignorant of constitutional law, claimed that "the association has unanimously decided to re-elect impeached dr. shirani bandaranayake for the cj post."

bar association, which is far from unanimity on anything, does not elect justices of supreme court, with good reason. president of the country appoints them when there is a vacancy. justices can only be removed through impeachment.

bandaranayake was removed through an impeachment, due to to her corruption. charges against her were originally made by ranil's close associates in unp, such as harsha de silva. new president, maithrepala sirisena, and probably a majority of soon to be appointed cabinet, voted for the impeachment.

ranil's primary real objection to current cj, is probably his constitutional ruling on land and police powers of provincial councils. ranil having some understanding with racist tna to give tna run northern provincial council more power in return for their support in election, has to get rid of cj and this ruling.

if ranil and his fixers, want the chief justice removed, they should impeach him and follow the due process of law. but since there is no credible allegations of any corruption against current cj, they have no case. hence the use of filthy tool jayasuriya.

it should be noted that american embassy has been indirectly subsidizing basl, after jayasuriya came in to office, by renting from basl, premises for united states agency for international development (usaid), a controversial agency accused world over for subverting governments. usaid in sri lanka was barely budgeted $15mil for 2014, and most of it was spent to pay foreign staff here and these premises.

but quite apart from what looks like dangerous foreign interference in sri lankan courts, and despicable back room maneuvering by deviant ranil, one thing is certain

rule of the law is in the process of being violated by these ranil sanctioned threats by jayasuriya. and all who love good governance should condemn them

yaha palanaya! new government tries to illegally suppress news from north

instead of letting media full freedom to report, so that truth or falseness can be independently verified, or instead of arresting, if illegal, the anti police/military stones throwing, tiger flag hoisting, ltte supporting racist scum in jaffna, ranil's back door government is using every resource of state to suppress and censor news from north

even to the point of threatening prosecution of those who report the news.

under what law? in fact, since mahinda removed emergency laws, there is no law under which such a threatened persecution could be conducted, even if the news is false. (news is in fact true).

this very illegal panic response only confirm the truth of these incidents even to skeptics, and inflate their significance. when in fact, incidents in themselves, carried out by few idiotic tamil racists, were of little importance.

so much for yaha palanaya, freedom of information, good governance, etc, etc.

sri lankans made a big mistake today

by kicking out mahinda and bringing in maithree puppet, we, sri lankans, made a big mistake.

it may very well turn out to be the biggest mistake, some of my fellow citizens, will make in their lives.

nor should sri lankan voters be allowed to say they were deceived or misled into voting for maipuppet. plenty of people saw what is happening and warned before the vote. voters freely chose this outcome with their eyes and minds open. now they will reap.

this being a democracy, lot of us who tried to prevent this mistake, will be dragged along with idiots to disaster. saying, "we told you so", wont be much help then. though i intend to rub noses, of plenty of  people, on those words soon enough. lol.

as said in my pre-vote post, with mahinda we looked forward to a stable continuation of growth and secure peace. but maipuppet's backers alleged mahinda was incompatible with democracy, good governance, rule of law, and clean hands. (you see that is why, he did not interfere with this election, or past elections, and quickly handed over power! at least one slander against him, that he is some kind of a violent power mad dictator, should now be laid to rest). but as i asked, even if this was true, does opening a back door to power to incompetent tainted nepotistic scum like ranil, and chandrika, a solution? is someone, willing to suck up to every sort of fringe party racist low life, going to deliver security and stability, especially if they abolish executive presidency and make him even more dependent? rather he will deliver up those who fought for peace and security to terrorist judges.

the immediate future
we will soon see how maipuppet's masters will publicly squabble and divide the spoils that mahinda built up, after they ruined the country between them last time. we will see almost all of their promises not implemented. we will see current anti corruption, good governance, rule of law, crusaders, in media, ngos, and web, keeping their mouths firmly shut, in return for scraps that fall from table.

all this will come to pass, soon enough. at some point, after lots of damage to country, they will get pushed out, like last time. but unlike mahinda, they will violently resist.

so what to do?
if we are lucky, maipuppet will actually develop a back bone and not obey his masters. act like another mahinda if you will, and be a successful president. there are even purely selfish immediate motives for this; to get mahinda voters, and even mahinda's brothers and officials, behind him. but that is unlikely, since maipuppet seems to be a born puppet.

other solution is to hope for , and do everything in our power if we can, to accelerate and exasperate  their infighting over spoils and contradictory polices. they will be pushed out all the more sooner. their absurd 100 day program, which will not be implemented, will be good hook on which to attack and press them.
