removing chief justice mohan peiris without due process amount to a coup

ranil's backdoor government's alleged removal of mohan peiris as chief justice without due precess prescribed in constitution, amount to a coup.

as such all citizens of sri lanka are free to resist the illegal coup government with whatever means available. traitors who take power through such illegal and violent means can be resisted. even use of violence in such resistance is legal.

resistance begins!

Mohan Peiris came through the back door

Ranil became PM using backdoor tactics and you can't say the whole government came through the backdoor since Sirisena is still the leader of the cabinet.

Should be corrected as, Ranil became PM using backdoor tactics but you can't say the whole government came through the backdoor since Sirisena is still the leader of the government.

no Mohan Peiris came through the front door. due process was followed . if there are objections, then then objectors must follow the due process in removing him.

i always specifically refer to "ranil's backdoor government".
sirisena, did get through front door, but he is so obviously not the "leader of the government", though he should be . instead he so far has acted like ranil's puppet.
in any case this unconstitutional action, endorsed and initiated by ranil, and carried out by sirisena, does violate sirisena's oath of office.

a future government may well remove him the way he removed cj.

Removal of Hon. CJ Mohan Peiris was illegal and unconstitutional. If there had been a technical error in the process of removal of the 43rd CJ then that leads to interpretation of the constitutional provisions and hence to be decided by the Supreme court again. President as the executive arm of the state cannot interpret the law of the country. It belongs to the courts. Is this the so called Good Governance!
