My auntie works for Sarvodaya.

I wouldn't say that people who work at these organisations are inherently corrupt. It's just that there's no accountability (and this is fiercely defended) and any spoilers are bullied in to silence. It's just human nature. Just think about it. You're sitting on a shit load of money and there's no one to check how you spend it. At the end of the year you just have to make up some nice presentations and videos to show the donors how the money is being spent - and a lot of it is actually spent while a big chunk is skimmed.

The government criticising them only adds to their credibility.Just Malhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00665578975481819621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13644607.post-1146803312812084742006-05-05T09:58:00.000+05:302006-05-05T09:58:00.000+05:30Heyy Ashanthi :)**I vote Keshi for President of Sr...Heyy Ashanthi :)

**I vote Keshi for President of Sri Lanka, north, east, south, west, left, right & the sooner the bloody better.

but I'd always be stuck with some single-minded ppl na...so it's really not gonna work lol! Indi is obviously someone who takes things personally without seeing it from a general point of view...some people do that when something they strongly support is seriously threatened. So maybe that's what happened with Indi. You probably said something very true abt something that he personally worships...hehe...just always remember one thing mate...freedom of speech does not mean satisfying everyone's egoes...you do what you think is right and speak the truth no matter how hard it hits another's conscience...even if it's your mate. In the rare event of a disrespectful comeback, I find a good technique is basically not to respond in kind - to just reply to any substance, or lack thereof, in the commentator's message.

I find it's not only "nice" but a good way of highlighting the person's nastiness! Just let them speak for themselves, I say! People can see what's going on...Dariushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09456843848141315800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13644607.post-1146654760372821072006-05-03T16:42:00.000+05:302006-05-03T16:42:00.000+05:30Indi has been nasty to other people for a long tim...Indi has been nasty to other people for a long time. I have no idea what he's bitching about.

Besides that, this is what happens when you dare to point out any flaws in NGOs - they carry out a campaign of harassment and scare/threaten you into silence.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
